FATMA BUCAK

Le opere di Fatma Bucak sono incentrate sull'identità e sulla sua fluidità e sulla sua intersezione con la politica. I suoi lavori in performance, fotografia, video e suono fanno parte di una ricerca a lungo termine sull'esperienza di isolamento e dislocazione relativa al corpo, al linguaggio, alla natura e alla condizione dell'alterità.

Fatma Bucak ha studiato Filosofia all'Università di Istanbul prima di completare i suoi studi in Stampa e Storia dell'Arte presso l'Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti di Torino in Italia. Bucak ha conseguito il Master in Fotografia al Royal College of Art di Londra.
